What is the thermal conductivity of rough grooved XPS?
According to the MEGA XPS T1500 and T3000 technical data sheets, the declared thermal conductivity is λD 0.035 W/mK (TS EN 13164).
What are the board dimensions and thicknesses?
The boards measure 600 x 1200 mm; thickness options are 20–80 mm for T1500 and 20–120 mm for T3000.
What is its compressive strength?
The compressive stress at 10% deformation is at least 150 kPa for type T1500 and at least 300 kPa for type T3000; the intermediate types are T2000 and T2500.
Where is rough grooved XPS used?
It is used, bonded with adhesive, in ETICS and internal lining systems, on columns and beams for thermal insulation, in cold stores, on foundations and shear walls, in prefabricated composite systems and in double-leaf walls.
