EPS – Hollow Blocks
Megaboard ASMOLEN, It is a ceiling and floor element made of polystyrene with high heat and sound insulation properties. Its density varies between 10-30 kg/m3. It is produced in dimensions of 4000x1000x1000 mm, similar to EPS blocks, and is sold cut to the thickness requested by the customer.
Storage and Preservation Conditions: Materials should be stacked in a closed environment, preferably in a low-sloping area protected from water, on wooden blocks in a straight line. Panel packages should not be stacked on top of each other. If stacking in an open environment, they should be covered with nylon or tarpaulin to protect them from water, without obstructing airflow or creating pools. The panels should be protected from both water and sun. When transporting materials in packages to the construction site or roof, a crane should be used if possible. Since pallet sizes and lengths vary, an appropriate forklift or crane should be selected. If pallets are to be transported by crane, steel or chain ropes should absolutely not be used; flat ropes (nylon, hemp, silk) should be preferred. Wooden blocks should be placed where the ropes come to protect the edges. The blocks should protrude 3.5 cm from the pallets. If a forklift is to be used, a forklift with wide forks should be used if the pallet length is over 6 m.
