Our 400 Students Will Now Study in a Healthier Environment
MEGA Insulation Solutions is one of the biggest supporters of Uzumlu Village and Education, which is on the border of Iraq and which is pioneered by World Human Relief (WHR). While the company took part in the project that will enable students to continue their education in cool, warm and healthy conditions in summer, also continued to contribute to energy efficiency by adding a new one to its social responsibility projects.
The border village, which is 80 km from Hakkari city center and 15 km from Çukurca district center, now has a brand new school. The school, planned as two floors and completed for the 2022-2023 academic year, has 12 classrooms. 400 children of the village, which has a population of 1400 and has been reopened for settlement since 2006, will now receive education in more modern, warmer and much healthier conditions.
MEGA Insulation Solutions fulfilled its mission , by using all necessary types of insulation materials for the school built in Üzümlü Village on the Turkey-Iraq border with the support of Hakkari Governorship and Provincial Directorate of National Education. MEGA Insulation Solutions, a member of İZODER, provided materials and labor for water, sound and thermal insulation for the school.

Speaking on the subject, Ahmet Yaşar, Member of the Board of Directors of İZODER and Chairman of the Executive Board of Mega Insulation Solutions, said, “Education is very important for the future of our country. Our students are our future. Where education is correct, there is creativity, success, peace, and hope for the future. And every child should be equal. All of them deserve to be educated in suitable conditions, in healthy and comfortable spaces. At the same time, Ahmet Yaşar, who successfully served as the Speaker of the Elazığ Chamber of Commerce and Industry, also paved the way for the initiation of very important projects that will directly affect the socio-economic and cultural structure of the province and will shape the development of the province in the short, medium and long term. Yaşar also carries out many valuable projects that will enable the development of the region, the creation of added value to the economy of the household, especially the women of Elazığ to turn what they do with their own skills into profit.
